The birthing process can put considerable stress on your baby’s spinal cord and cranium (especially traumatic birth, caesarean, forceps, and vacuum delivery).
The nervous system (brain, spinal cord, and nerves) controls and coordinates the functions of the entire body. Chiropractic care specializes in checking the spine for subluxations (misalignments of the spine) that interfere with the flow of information from the brain to the body. Correction of these subluxations is essential for your child's nervous system function and development properly.
Problems such as colic, breathing difficulties, chronic colds and infections, asthma, ear infections, and nursing difficulties can be traced back to nervous system stress from birth.

Cranial adjusting is a safe and specific evaluation of your baby’s many cranial bones. Gentle pressure is used to restore proper movement patterns and overall alignment and balance.

Obstetric literature has determined the importance of normal pelvic neuro-biomechanics including uterine function and pelvic alignment for the prevention of dystocia (difficult birth). Chiropractic literature has determined the significance of sacral adjustments in normalizing pelvic neuro-biomechanics.
